Knowing Where You Stand

What has been billed and collected, and when online payments reach your bank.

The one-page position

Finance → Finance Overview is the figure a proprietor asks for: what has been billed, what has come in, and what is still owed. It separates "Outstanding" from "Overdue", and "Collected online" from "Collected manually", so you can see at a glance how much of your collection is going through the counter. "Refunded" and "Credit held" sit alongside them.

Where the money went

"By what the money was for" breaks the same figures down by category — tuition against bus against books — and "Who funded the concessions" shows what your discounts and concessions cost and who bore them. Each currency is reported in its own block and never added together.

Online payments reaching your bank

Finance → Settlements lists each online payment on its way to you, with "Your share", the "Gross" the parent paid, the "Platform share" and the "Processor fee". "Currently owed to this school" is the running headline. Nothing on this page sends money — it is the record of what is moving, so you can answer a proprietor asking where last week's fees are.

Reading a row honestly

Use "Show settlements that are" to move between what is still on its way and what has settled. Until the provider reports its own fee on a transaction, the platform share shown for that row includes it, so a fresh row can look dearer than it finally is. The settled rows are the ones to reconcile against your bank statement.
